The Swiss association for electric and
efficient vehicles e'mobile is engaged in promoting the market introduction of electric vehicles since its founding in 1980. Having no
commercial interests the association enjoys high credibility. By the launching of the Swiss center for electric vehicles e’mobile strengthens
its activities in the field of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

The employees of the
Swiss center have years of experience in the field of electric vehicles. They draw on external expertise based on an extensive network of
contacts from home and abroad.
Unbiased information
The Swiss center works closely with vehicle and
component manufacturers, electricity suppliers, associations, research institutes, federal government, cantons and municipalities. It is a
product- and brand-neutral contact point in particular for the media. It provides contacts with suppliers, partners and experts at home and
abroad and it provides a platform for exchanging expertise and experience.
Key activities
As from 1 October
2010 the center is under the direction of Cyril Deschamps. Key activities are:
- Providing a first point of contact for questions
regarding electric vehicles - Maintaining a specific web site including a library for partners in the reserved area - Organising test
drive events, conferences and workshops - Offering advice on the development of market introductory concepts and strategies -
Monitoring of pilot and demonstration projects
